ADVANCED SOLUTIONS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF HEALTHCARE AND PHARMACEUTICALS WERE PRESENTED AT THE KIHE 2023 EXHIBITION
FROM MAY 17 TO MAY 19, THE 28TH KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION HEALTHCARE - KIHE 2023 WAS HELD ON THE TERRITORY OF THE ATAKENT KCBC, SERVING AS THE MOST IMPORTANT DEMONSTRATION PLATFORM OF ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE FIELD OF SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL MEDICINE AND PHARMACY IN CENTRAL ASIA, AS WELL AS ANNUALLY UNITING DOCTORS OF VARIOUS SPECIALTIES, PHARMACISTS, GOVERNMENT AND BUSINESS REPRESENTATIVES FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES. DURING THE THREE DAYS OF THE EXHIBITION, 4,007 UNIQUE VISITORS WERE ABLE TO GET ACQUAINTED WITH THE EXPOSITION.
Advanced practical solutions and the latest trends of global manufacturers of equipment and medicines were presented by 309 companies from 17 countries, such as Belarus, Great Britain, Hungary, Germany, Egypt, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, China, Latvia, Pakistan, Russia, USA, France, Czech Republic, Uzbekistan, South Korea. 87 companies became debutants this year, including Ishym Medical, Q-Med, Mbionics, Medsyst, Zein Invest, Hearing Rehabilitation Center, Karsai Alba KFT, Mina World, Absology CO., LTD, Doctor Esthetic, Lojer Medical, Federal State Unitary Enterprise Cito, Litoplast-Med and others. 45% of the stands belong to Kazakhstani companies, demonstrating a very bright and impressive growth in the development of the medical sector in Kazakhstan. Among the domestic manufacturers and distributors are OrdaMed, AllGene, Dolce-Pharm/Dolce, EIRA MED, GeneNote, MBIONICS, MEDCOMFORT, Medical Style, SINTEZ-KZ, Medical Holding/PROF med Group of Companies, Aktubrentgen, Biotech Scientific, DiAKiT, ELAMED-KZ, OZAR PHARM, REMI, Pharmactiv and others.
Kazakhstan is becoming a center of attraction for the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of medical equipment and innovative solutions, as 55% of the total number of participants are international companies. The participation of international companies at the KIHE exhibition provides unique prospects for the exchange of experience, the establishment of business relations and the introduction of international best practices and technologies in healthcare in Kazakhstan. 8 collective and national stands from Belarus, Russia, the Czech Republic, Uzbekistan and South Korea were present at the event site. 76 leading medical companies from Russia performed both with stand-alone stands and as part of 4 collective expositions as part of the Moscow Export Center, the Russian Export Center, the Agency for International Communications and the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, demonstrating the latest developments in all areas. The Export Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan presented 8 companies engaged in the production of medicines and medical devices.
The Embassy of France in Kazakhstan presented 4 companies at its stand to promote French experience and innovations in the field of healthcare through effective networking. The participants of the CzechTrade stand (the State agency for the promotion of Trade of the Czech Republic) were companies engaged in the development, production and sale of medical products for orthopedics and traumatology, the implementation of the construction of clean rooms and complete supplies, including ensuring the supply of all components for clean rooms. Belfarmprom from Belarus traditionally participates in KIHE 2023, the holding's participants produce medicines, biologically active food additives, as well as medical products. China presents 29 companies at the KIHE 2023 exhibition, including manufacturers of medical equipment and products, as well as rehabilitation, physiotherapy, consumables. The Korean Medical Equipment Association has united leading Korean companies at its stand. Nussupova A.B. – Deputy Akim of Almaty, Shametekov I.M. - Head of the Public Health Department of Almaty, Lokshin V.N. - President of the Association of Legal Entities Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Petukhova N.M. - Vice President of the Eurasian Medical Association,Durmanova M.I. - President of the Association of Legal Entities in the form of Association for the Support and Development of Pharmaceutical Activities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Dautbayev Ye.K. - General Director - Chairman of the Board of the RSE at the National Center for the Examination of Medicines and Medical Devices, Dauletbayev D.A. - Head of the Department of Medical and Pharmaceutical Control in Almaty, Kazhibayev A.E. - Managing Director-Member of the Management Board of SK-Pharmacy LLP, Danilenko B.A. – Director of the Iteca exhibition company - took part as honorary guests in the introductory tour of the exhibition.
In addition to the exhibition part, the KIHE 2023 program includes conferences, round tables and seminars with the participation of government agencies representatives, pharmaceutical companies and associations, as well as medical institutions. The first day of the international exhibition started with a discussion on the topic "Pharmaceutical industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan: realities and opportunities". The conference program included speeches by the heads of regulatory and expert bodies in the field of healthcare and the sphere of circulation of medicines. Recognized leaders and leading industry experts acted as moderators and speakers. Following the results of the conference, the participants expressed confidence that this event served as a unique platform for a constructive and open dialogue and will play an important role in the long-term implementation of the tasks set, and will contribute to the further development of domestic medicine.
The Kazakhstan Association of Medical Laboratory Diagnostics held a round table on the topic: Current problems of laboratory medicine development in Kazakhstan. In the seminar area, experts-practitioners from the International Media Holding ICFED-Kazakhstan, Longest companies, Alifax LLC , KAZMEDEQ.KZ, NJSC Turar Healthcare held a number of training seminars. Number of seminars on marketing and building business processes in medical organizations were held on May 18. On May 19, the final day of the exhibition, the Republican Conference "Antiobiotic Resistance. Challenges in Healthcare", organized by the Federation of Laboratory Medicine was held.
