Innovations for the protection of health
KIHE 2011 will take place in Almaty on 11-13 May. In terms of the number and range of exhibitors, it is the largest and most representative healthcare exhibition in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. The exhibition will be located in pavilion 11 of the Atakent Exhibition Centre.
The event will present over 150 exhibiting companies, organisations and enterprises from 18 countries, including: Belarus, Belgium, Germany, Hungary, India, China, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Czech Republic, Finland, Switzerland and Japan. The Czech Republic and Germany will participate with national stands. The German group stand will bring together 26 companies. A large part of the exhibition will be made up of companies from Russia (18% of the total number of exhibitors) and China (5%). Domestic companies will form the basis of the exhibition: 40% of exhibitors are Kazakhstani companies.
KIHE 2011 will present a wide range of medical goods and services - from producers of medicines to manufacturers, dealers and distributors of medical equipment, and equipment for ophthalmology, endoscopy, rehabilitation, physiotherapy, spas and much more.
The exhibition’s business programme consists of seminars from such companies as: National Medical Holding JSC, MIELE LLP, KazMedTech JSC, Medtechnika JSC, with its partner from Lithuania TANETA, OPTEK LLP, KARL STORZ from Germany, MTP LLP and Media-System Agency LLP. The topics of the seminars and presentations are varied: “Projects management: adoption of innovative technologies”, “New requirements for using medical instruments”; “Financing the supply of medical equipment under the terms of a lease”; “Equipment for children with cerebral palsy and other illnesses, and its use in the home”; “Devices and reagents for pathological anatomy”; “Architectural planning for the construction of modern hospitals, operating theaters and consulting rooms”; “Navigation and scanning systems in ENT practice”; and others.
For the first time, KIHE will feature a TV link-up from an operating room, with a live broadcast and explanation by leading medics of the application of innovative technologies and equipment. The TV link-ups will take place on the second day of the exhibition at the seminars of KARL STORZ.
Leading domestic and international companies will showcase the latest developments, know-how and technologies needed by the modern healthcare industry.
OrdaMed Central Asia will present a line of new R-series models from South Korea’s Medison - eighth generation scanners that use a completely new software platform: SonoAce R3, SonoAce R5, SonoAce R7, Accuvix XG and EKO 7. The latter have unique options, HDVI ® and Volume NT ®, which have no analogues among other manufacturers of ultrasonic scanners. Yumgiskor will demonstrate a contactless, fast and accurate way of determining haemoglobin levels in blood, pulse rate and perfusion index using a new development - Masimo Pronto-7TM. This year, Medicus Eurasia will focus on cardiology and cardiac surgery: at KIHE 2011 the company will present the LUCAS automatic chest compression system.
